I joined the staff at Tomah School of Childhood in August 2023. I graduated with my Associate degree in Administration in 2016 from Mid-State Technical College in Stevens Point and am working on my Bachelor degree in Elementary Education at UW Superior. My previous experience includes working as a teacher assistant at a daycare for 10+ years. I also worked in an office for 6 years in both auto insurance and Medicaid billing. Most recently I was a Special Ed aide and a school bus driver for TASD. I have also owned an in-home daycare. My husband and I have four children (16, 14, 5, and 4). We have a small hobby farm outside of town with horses, cats, a donkey, chickens, ducks and a turkey.

Holly Larson

4K Teacher

I began my education as a student at the Tomah School of Childhood and am excited to be back as the 4K teacher! I have taught kindergarten and 4K in the Sparta School District for the past 27 years. Seeing children develop a love of learning through exploration, discovery and play is a magical sight!

My family and I love cooking together, playing games, golfing, watching sports of all kinds and relaxing up north. My husband, Greg, and I have 3 amazing boys - Jakob (23) serves in the National Guard and is going to school to become a police officer; Isaac (16) loves performing with show choir and theatre; and Patrick (13) loves all things jazz related.

Linda Mesner

4K Assistant Teacher

I have been a part of the TSC staff for 26 years. I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked in both the 3K and 4K classrooms. I have 2 grown children, a son Brett, and a daughter Casey. They both attended Tomah School of Childhood. I am a huge sports fanatic!

Francisca Rigsby

3K Teacher

I have been part of the TSC staff for 13 years, and have worked with children for over 25 years. After 25 years I still get excited to go to work and spend time helping the kids grow and learn. I am married to my husband of 29 years and we have two kids, my son Dirk (28), and my daughter Sari (24). I love spending time with my family, cooking, baking and going outdoors for walks, hikes & running.

Brandy Devito

Aftercare Teacher

I joined TSC in January of 2024 as the Aftercare teacher. Before joining TSC, I was a teaching assistant at LaGrange Elementary. I've always had a passion for helping and caring for people. Before I came into the education field, I was a CNA for many years. I truly have found my calling by helping shape the minds of children each day.

My husband and I have 3 children. Natalie (8), Aaliyah (6), and Bentley (3). We have 1 dog and 2 cats. I have always lived in the Tomah area. In my free time I like to go on walks or bike rides. I like to craft and use my Cricut machine. As a family, we love walks/bike rides, racing at the Wisconsin Dells Raceway and roller-skating at the roller rink in Oakdale.
